GT identified students in first-fifth grades independently research and study topics of interest, present to their peers, and participate in a district-wide event in March called the Dr. Carol Ann Bonds Texas Research Institute for Young Scholars. The program provides enrichment and acceleration to meet the individual needs of GT students.
